Business Seminar - I Need Name Ideas!! =|

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
We are a Commercial security company on the east coast, near DC. We host "Plan to Stay in Business" Seminars which are hosted by retired police officers who work at our security company. We do intrusion detection, access control, digital video surveillance, computer network security, physical security, biometrics, life safety etc...What is a good name for our seminars? "Plan to Stay in Business Seminar" is rather generic...We educate people on security in the workplace. What is a good seminar name???? =)

    Thanks for that idea, Steve.

Also, we are looking to host these "Plan to Stay in Business" Seminars in different clients businesses to open up our clients to their services, and visa versa.

Many of these clients where we will host it at are going to be Telecommunications businesses, and IT companies.

A Tagline, or included in the name it may indicate something about "Technology in the Workplace" regarding security & IT, or Telecomm technology.

    Any ideas?

    Hi amawesdude, ---HAPPY NEW YEAR---

hope you're having a great day because there's nothing more important than you having a wonderfully Exuberant life.

Having spent over 5 years as a commercial security consultant for ADT, before that SBC, & SBC AMERITECH and before that with my first company SecurityLink from AMERITECH.

I understand the types of things you work with everyday. I'm not sure what customers are looking for in the security industry these days as it's been 6 years since I came out of the business but I could confidently say that your organization must be focused on delivering "PEACE of mind" or you're not delivering a solution that communicates powerful value.

CUSTOMERS DON'T BY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES...

CUSTOMERS BUY ---SOLUTIONS--- TO THEIR PROBLEMS

    FOCUS ON THE CUSTOMER...
No matter what you do focus on the customer. So who is your customer?

Do you try to target everyone that has a business or do you have a specific audience you tend to gravitate to?

Whose your TARGET Customer for this seminar?
    Are they...
    Prospecitve Customers.
    New Repeat Customers
    Old Repeat Customers
    Referrals of your Customers

Do they buy small or do they buy Large Commercial Products?

Do they buy high end or low end commercial systems?

Do they buy single products or integrated commercial systems?

Next there are many reasons why I ask these questions. First so that we can narrow down your target audience and second so that we can began to identify the type of language your end user may desire to hear.

Rather than cut and paste some of the previous taglines I've been awarded points for on this forum I'd rather direct you toward my customer profile. There you can read about some of the very important questions I've asked and provided solutions for as it pertains to Taglines.

If you're looking for a quick answer then I can assure you that you're not going to ever get to the kind of tagline that will ever deliver the kind of tremendous value or results you need in order to create lifetime customers and irrational amounts of money. So what would you like to do and where would you really like to go with this question you've asked above?

You can try to grow your seminar customer base by subtraction, addition or mulitiplication. I can assure you that multiplying your customer base will get you there faster.

amawesdude ...REMEMBER... our only real problem in life is our failure to be "MORE Creative" than we’ve ever been. If you “Invent” your opportunity YOU WILL most definitely create your future. I'm only an email away from you if you need further guidance, direction or you'd just like to talk more about it. You see I love it when my customers are happy. Are you happy yet? Is this information helping you? Is there anything else I can do for you?

    Your Servant,

Lovingly Deremiah *CPE (Customer Passion Evangelist)

    PS
I could give you a premature list of Taglines or I could give you some solutions that really solve your problem. What would you like?

    PPS
A friend of mine named Michael Senoff has also given me a solution that he highly recommends for this problem and I would be open to talk to you about it as long as you're looking for long term solutions. If you're just looking for me to offer names without helping me identify who your target customer is I really don't know one adequate solution that will effectively help me solve your problem this way. Thanks for your time and hope to hear from you.
