Ad Messages Received Per Day

Hi folks:

I am seeking a statistic and source stating how many advertising messages the average person in the USA receives each day.

Can anyone steer me toward an answer?

    Hi Vinced,

    From page 73 of the August 2005 issue of Inc. Magazine (the current issue):

    "On average, Americans are subject to some 3000 essentially random messages per day."

    BTW, it is from a great article titled "The Future of Advertising is Here".
