Search Engine Optimisation / Marketing

Should we have a new "SEO" type category?
It would definately get my vote, "E-Marketing" is just too broad!

Nice point raised. In my opinion you need to have search engine optimisation because then you will get more hits and E-marketing is a long process.
    Lets take an example :-
If someone is browsing you site, out of 100 only 5 people will note company mailing ID but if you get the SEO the conversion rate would definitely hike and you can maintain a huge database of your clients as well.

    Thanks,
    Ritesh.

Hi Andrew. That's a good idea. I'll add it now. I'll call it "Search Engine Marketing" so it covers natural/organic + paid search.

Certainly there's no end to the ways we can classify our discussions. I prefer that we do it by volume. Generally speaking, SEM is a subject I get more inquiries about than other aspects of e-marketing. So, in that way, I can justify a category for it.

I'm slow to respond because we've been buried under a colossal project >> assigning new keywords to 1650 articles. Just finished! Soon we'll have new subject pages on the site to present all our content in an easier-to-find format.

One of these days we'll do the same for the KHE discussion threads. This will require revisiting our KHE categories. We always knew we had an imperfect list. Once Version 1.0 of MP's new subject pages are live, we can start working on incorporating KHE threads into that structure.

    Stay tuned. :)

    Best,

    Val
