Push To App Or Website?

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi,
I'm wondering if we should mobilize our website or just create mobile entry page that pushes people to download our free app? Our app has a quote form as well as other helpful tips. We only have it for iphone and blackberry but will soon have a droid app as well. I'm leaning toward the app since it has staying power and eliminates the need on waiting for pages to download. Pros and cons to each? For reference our website is www.suddathinternational.com and our app is called Suddath's Moving Guru.

I have looked at your site and installed your app on my iPhone and suggest you develop a text-based navigation mobile site with simple content for "About Us", "Services", "Relocation Zone" "Case Studies" and "News" along with the app. The reason is that searchers may want to know more about your company before they download the app (I know I did) and I don't think you can squeeze all of that on an entry page. Your app is excellent, nice job on that, but not everybody is going to want to download it, they will want to either call or text/email and click-to-call and click-to-text would be perfect for this.
