What Other Forums Are There For Marketers?

Posted by Anonymous on 25 Points
I just wanted to know if they are any other websites similar to this one, also specifically for marketers and people interested in marketing?

I am aware of yahoo answers but very broad and general. I am also interested to know what websites offer marketing trends, information and news.

As you can see i'm very keen to expand my marketing knowledge.

Sharon, what are you doing up at 4.13 AM. People will think you are in marketing :-)

Linkedin.com has a very good answers area where marketing is discussed.

Oops, I hit send too quickly. I meant to add that both the sites I listed are good sources of marketing knowledge. Duct Tape has forums, lets you post articles, and comments. Seth doesn't, but he's brilliant and worth reading.

    Dear Sharon

The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) in the UK is a good place, but it is a bit stuffy in comparison with this forum.

    Try:

    www.cim.co.uk

You will find vibrant forums (Or is that fora) on the constituent parts of marketing in isolation, such as www.customerthink.com (CRM Site) and so on with the institute of sales and marketing management (Sales site) etc.

Not wishing to plug MarketingProfs too much but the site now has more viewers and members than the 100 year old CIM and although Bob Thompson’s CustomerThink is the premier site for CRM in the world, we have 3 times more members and almost as many CRM based questions on our forum as that site.

    Best wishes

Facebook has a bunch of marketing groups. I've also put together a webpage with a bunch of widget-type windows that link to a bunch of marketing blogs (via RSS): www.pageflakes.com/croughwell/21597628.
