Nonprofit Newsletter Needs Your Creative Input

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi everyone,

The wonderful nonprofit organization I work for is about to launch our new corporate partner newsletter, yeah!

However, we're in need of some creative ideas in terms of what to call it, other than the ole "Corporate Partner Newsletter".

Our nonprofit organization is an online giving community that connects donors with other 1400 grassroots charities around the world. We work with corporate partners by helping to support them on their international giving and community efforts.

The goal of this newsletter is keep our current partners engaged in our current initiatives, highlight new partnerships for potential partners, and act as a resource piece on the issues that our corporate partners care about most: corporate responsibility, international giving, corp philanthropy and grantmaking, and cause marketing.

Thanks for any thoughts you might have! Just as an aside, our tone is usually warm and engaging, yet innovative and high caliber. We like to think of ourselves as the platform that enables important work to happen, and enjoy doing so in the process

What's the name of your nonprofit?
What's the URL of your website?

I've assumed you are https://www.globalgiving.org/ (GlobalGiving) and that you're not about to change the name.

Interesting that you've focused on the "giving" part and not on the benefit(s) of giving.

Thanks for your suggestions so far colleagues! These are good and headed in the right direction.

Yes, mgoodman, this is for GlobalGiving. We're highlighting more of the "how" with this newsletter as it is a resource for our great corporate partners, rather than the benefit. We hope that as they work with us, the benefit will become that much more clear.

    Thanks for the comment, though!

    Brilliant Giving

... lets you focus on the "how to" while making your corporate sponsors feel that you're enabling smart philanthropic choices ... encourages them not to miss an issue ... also underscores your organization's leadership and expertise ... and it's tremendously positive. Do go for something uplifting, as so much of the language used in corporate social responsibility is dry beyond belief.

If you're interested, I can tell you how to get the domain brilliantgiving.com at no cost for your organization.
