Text Or Sms Marketing

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
To plan for the future, the company I work for starting taking opt-in text messaging phone numbers from our customers on our membership program. We have close to 500 numbers.

Now looking for a service provider to implement advertising campaigns, such as special coupons and announcements. Has anyone worked with a good SMS provider?

    Hi Rock,

What you are looking for is an aggregator or mobile enabler which is a third-party company (technology and otherwise) that bridge the gap between content owners ( you), carriers/operators, and consumers.

I have worked with a number of aggregator platforms, some good, some not so, spanning across a price range from $80 a month for all-you-can-send to $1000's month.

Don't base your decision on price. Base it on where you want to be in the future. You need to have your longer term strategy developed so you pick the right platform now because you don't want to be changing it in a year.

A good aggregator can help you do this planning and will have the platform with all the bells and whistles that you might not need now, but will in 6 months or a year.

One I can refer you to is www.textingforward.com and ask for Riza and tell her Tim Pepper referred you.

Space and time do not allow me to expand further here, but I would be happy to discuss this more with you offline, you can contact me through my profile if you want.
