Compounding Pharmacy Name Ideas

Hi,
I am in process of opening a new compounding pharmacy in Australia and after some ideas for a name & slogan.

I would like a name & slogan emphasising fast quality service & competitive pricing and to be catchy later on when I launch my website.

That's my first business and I know the name will have great impact on the business. Thanks in advance.

    "Fast quality service & competitive pricing" sounds like a generic claim that everyone will make and which consumers will immediately discount as being meaningless. It's probably more important to select a name that will let your target audience know you are one of them, understand their values, and are trustworthy and reliable.

    Let's start by understanding who your target audience is. Who and where are they? What's important to them? Where are they getting their pharmaceutical products now? What do they like about the current supplier(s)? What would they want to be different? What are their most important unmet needs? Why would they change their loyalty? What unique and compelling benefit should they expect if they become YOUR customers?

    All of these questions need to be answered/considered before you select a name and a slogan. As you note, the name can be important for a long time. Let's get it right the first time.

    Thanks mgoodman for your reply. I will try to answer your questions.

    1- my target audience is patient with a compounding script anywhere in Australia looking online for a compounding pharmacy.

    2- it's important for them to get a high quality product for reasonable price.

    3- they are shopping around, compounding pharmacy field is just starting in Australia, it's not as well established as it's the case in USA.

    4- In compounding sector of pharmacy, there is no much loyalty to the pharmacy and what the customers don't like about their current pharmacy will vary, some will be pricing others will be ease of use or wait time to receive the product.

    5- I guess the most unmet need here is counselling about the product and giving more attention to the non-pharmaceutical part of the disease state management.

    6- when they are my customers, they will get high quality & easy to use tailored products for a reasonable price in addition to personalized counselling (including non-pharmaceutical aspects as discussed above) & regular follow up if they want to.

    Thanks for your reply cookmarketing, although the word " Discount" can do magic getting more people to visit your store but you have raised a valid point. I am not leanning towards naming if after the city we are in because I wanna target the whole country not single city.

    I had no idea what a compounding pharmacy is, or what type of patient would use it over standard pre-prepared medication. If it's new in Australia you might have a lot of education to do. Going out on a limb, my guess is that the customers who want the personalised medication and tailored service may well be willing to pay for that service because they will seek you out to get the attention they feel they need.
