Introducing Investor To A Business

What introduction fee can I claim for introducing an investment banker to a company who needs the investors capital?

    You are introducing the investment banker to the company?

    Depending on the deal, you're not likely to get anything for that except maybe a round of golf.

    You would need something in writing, and then depending on that fee, either the investment bank or the investors will not permit it to be paid. You might not even be allowed to collect a fee unless you're a registered securities rep.

    The investment bank is a middleman between the company and the money; you're a middleman to the middleman, so there's not really a huge fee to be earned here, at least in my opinion.

    You can't "claim" anything unless there was an explicit agreement up-front. Why do you think you're entitled to something?
