Web Hosts

Hi

I am currently looking for a hosting company that is both competitively priced and gives as much freedom to the back end of your site as possible.
I would also need to be able to hold customer data and customer orders.
I have been looking at www.venda.com but wanted to know if there are anymore you could recommend?

    Namecheap.com - they don't offer phone support, but their 24/7 online support is top notch. Lot's of cPanel options.

    They are my fav. and I've used:

    GoDaddy
    Mochahost
    1and1
    HostGator

    I've been with Rackspace for about 8-9 years now, and I'll never go elsewhere.

    The words, "We don't do that," or "That's not our job" are simply not in their vocabulary.

    A lot of companies talk about fanatical support, but Rackspace delivers the goods.

    Dear Brad,

    I use JustHost. All the usual bells and whistles, and a solid, no BS approach. Good fee structure, free domian name as part of the overall package, and unlimited domain hosting (you just have to pay $14.95 for each new domain name) for other domains.

    They offer dedicated servers if you need them, 24/7 phone support, and solid levels of up time.

    I find www.barakhosting.com to be top notch. Servers located in NAP of the Americas (lots of DoD servers there) in hurricane proof bunkers. Top notch service and good pricing.

    Venda looks like a pretty sophisticated, enterprise-sized solution provider, though. What is most important to you - Price, Flexiblity, Service?

    Hi Chris

    To be honest the company that need the site are pretty small at the minute so it ideally i would be looking for a basic, easy to use system tat allows add ons and to collect orders and customer data.

    There current site has been left half complete and the creator wanting to get rid of it.
