Creative Name For Pet Related Business

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hello. I'm in the process of starting a dog daycare & pet hotel business. The daycare /hotel is specific to dogs, small and large yet non-breed specific. I'll provide additional pet services (pet massage etc.) down the road.

I've researched the dog daycares/boarding in the area and there isn't anything out there (yet) currently offering what I plan to. For example: The hotel portion allows dog owners to select from a number of themed-based suites (various sizes with the ave. being comparable in size to 4 star hotel bathroom).

Hope that is enough information as I don't want to give too much away. I'm coming up empty on business names as many of the creative names we've brained stormed are taken (It's a Dog's Life, Caninie-to-Five, The Dog and I). I'm not crazy about using anything with Pooch or Paw.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! It's the only hold up to moving forward.

    Pet's Day Out

    Pet Resort and Salon

    Best Friends Pet Resort

    Happy Tails Pet Resort

Critter Sitters - Luxury Pet Resort

    Pet Pals

    Animal Kingdom Pet Resort

Or you can try classier names (it sounds like you will be expensive)

    K9 Pet Resort and Spa

    Affinity Canine Resort

You may want to add your value proposition to the tagline. This will help to immediately distinguish what makes you different.

I'd like to help you on this project. I don't answer many Tagline questions because I usually perform this type of work for a living, but you will find I have been the #1 Overall "expert" here for over a year. We can create your logo, signage, custom graphics, brochures, as well as confidentially assist you with the naming process, review your business strategy, etc.

Please feel free to contact me for more info (Just click my name).

Thanks for asking such a fun question. If you would like to take it to the next level and get professional assistance, we are ready to work for you!

    Take Care!

    For what it's worth...

I like Jett's suggestions with "resort and spa" in the name.

You could also play around with recognizable hotels, as long as there's no big risk of copyright/trademark infringement. For example:

Take "The Four Seasons" and make it "The Four-Legged Seasons"

(Oh dear, that might go down as one of my lamest ideas ever posted here!!)

Or maybe, "The Canine Plaza" or "Canine Ritz Spa and Resort"

    Enough already.

Hi I'm starting a Dog behaviour and training business and am short on name ideas. It needs to be fun but professional-was thinking something along the lines of 'Pawswise behaviour and training' or 'Smartpaws behaviour and training'. Any one got some better ideas?

I am starting up an in home petsitting business, so pets can stay in their own comfort zone while their owners are gone. I am looking for a name that will stand out and catchy so people remember it. I would like something that refers to in home sitting, but not a long name. Even a basic catchy pet business name is fine. Thanks for the help!
