Need Increased Web Traffic

We currently spend about 20% of our revenues for pay-per-click ads. The hit rate is decreasing and Google is getting more expensive. We are paying more to get less. Our service is "Vista", no not Microsoft Vista. Our Vista tool is an online survey tool that is one of the best on the market, but nobody will ever know because we end up on page 30 of a Google search. Any suggestions to increase Web presence?

    I agree with jcrooks, the best way to generate revenues and imcrease traffic (I would guess your primary objectives) and improve ranking (secondary ones), are to do the following in order.

    Affiliates
    Usability
    SEO
    Link Optimisation
    PPC
